Maybe as I continue on this sonic journey through random albums, I will come to enjoy avante-gard music. Maybe, and that day is not today. Am I too simple to enjoy music like this? Am I just not the target audience? Am I too self-absorbed in my own likes and dislikes that I cannot separate the album from the genre it is listed as? I don't know the answer to these, what I do know is that I found this album weird and boring. It didn't have any particular flow for me, it was just a song and then another that sounded similar enough to tell it's the same artist, but it didn't particularly feel like it was the same record. I'm not going to say anything crazy like personally shit on the band, I know that this album is for somebody out there and somebody is loving it.
